Last night we reported that Brazilian presidential candidate Jair Bolsonaro, victim of a stabbing attack while on the campaign trail, underwent emergency surgery to deal with a blockage on this intestinal wall.

This morning, his son tweeted out:

Translation: The emergency surgery went well, praise God! My father is paying a high price for wanting to redeem Brazil, he is literally giving his blood.

However, he is not out of the woods just yet.

Translation: Bolsonaro suffers an intestinal secretion leakage, and returns to the ICU.
