We’ve featured the Smoke Squadron here before, but they are not the only aerobatics team in Brazil. The Sky Squadron recently came to our attention when they did a performance in honor of president-elect Jair Bolsonaro.
According to their website, they are made up mostly of pilots in the Brazilian Air Force Reserve. Their Instagram page is full of cool photos and videos. The following selection just barely scratches the surface.
Things like this lend credence to the idea that it actually was a Brazilian who invented the airplane.
