We’ve talked before about Walt Disney’s WWII-era visit to Brazil. One of the results of this was the creation of a quintessentially Brazilian Disney character – the parrot Zé Carioca.

Here is the clip from the film “Saludos Amigos” where Zé has his debut, to the tropical strains of “Tico Tico no Fubá”.
